\"c-span\"<\/a>StudentCam is an annual national video documentary competition that encourages students to think critically about issues that affect our communities and our nation, sponsored by C-SPAN.<\/h3>\n

The StudentCam theme for 2015 is:\u00a0 \u201c\u201cThe Three Branches and You.\u201d\u00a0Tell a story that demonstrates how a policy, law, or action by either the executive, legislative, or judicial branch has affected you or your community.<\/p>\n

Deadline:\u00a0January 20, 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maximum award: $5,000, plus $750 to spend on digital video equipment for his\/her school. Eligibility: students grades 6-12, individually or in teams.\u00a0Students in grades 6-8 will be considered “middle school” entrants; grades 9-12 will be considered “high school” entrants.<\/p>\n
