All tutors work 1-on-1 with students. Hours are flexible, depending on need. And, tutors work at one of our two Education Centers in either Wilmington or Newark, Nationwide, or travel to a student\u2019s home, office, or school for sessions.<\/p>\n<p>All positions are part-time, unless otherwise noted. Tutors are needed for daytime hours, as well as after school and evening\/weekend, depending on subject and student.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pay rate is $19-28 \/ hour, depending on subject, degree and experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum1+ year of teaching experience EXCLUSIVE of practicum, student teaching and substituting.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of a Bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Daytime, afterschool and\/or evening availability (particular need for 8:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Subjects Needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All High School Maths (Algebra through AP Calculus)<\/li>\n<li>All High School Sciences<\/li>\n<li>All Languages, High School Levels I-IV<\/li>\n<li>ACT and SAT Prep (Math and Verbal)<\/li>\n<li>Test Prep (HSEE, GRE, GED)<\/li>\n<li>High School English<\/li>\n<li>Certified Special Ed.<\/li>\n<li>Certified ESL\/ELL (all grade levels throughout Nationwide)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please send a resume directly to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:kaitlyn@backtobasicslearning.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span id=\"eeb-86453\">kaitlyn@backtobasicslearning.com<\/span>\u00a0<\/a>detailing education, experience, and any certifications in order to be considered for an interview.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A variety of positions are available for educators in several subjects.
