Join young leaders in more than 100 countries across 6 continents for the largest annual day of service and celebration of the contributions that children and youth make 365 days of the year.<\/p>\n

Nationwide Volunteer Credit for high school students<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bonus! If your community-minded student is in 9th \u2013 12th grade, he or she can even earn a\u00a0Nationwide Volunteer Credit (<\/a>DVC).\u00a0The DVC allows students grades in 9-12 to earn one elective credit towards graduation upon completing 90 hours of community service during two semesters. The semesters do not have to be consecutive or in the same calendar year.<\/p>\n

Hours must be performed outside the student\u2019s regularly scheduled school day. Volunteer hours completed as part of a service group requirement may also be used towards the Nationwide Volunteer Credit.
