Sadly, this loss has not been exaggerated by the media and – as many teachers can attest – is all too real a problem when September arrives.

In fact, children of all ages experience some learning loss when they don’t engage in educational activities over the long summer months. And, research spanning 100 years shows that students also typically score lower on standardized tests at the end of summer vacation than they do on the same tests at the beginning of the summer.

To stop the summer slide, Back to Basics Learning Dynamics has created a series of educational camps, mini camps and summer workshops just right for your K-8th grade student.
