Sadly, this loss has not been exaggerated by the media and \u2013 as many teachers can attest \u2013 is all too real a problem when September arrives.<\/p>\n

In fact, children of all ages<\/em> experience some learning loss when they don’t engage in educational activities over the long summer months. And, research spanning 100 years<\/em> shows that students also typically score lower on standardized tests at the end of summer vacation than they do on the same tests<\/em> at the beginning of the summer.<\/p>\n

Math Counts camps (K-1st, 2nd \u2013 3rd, 4th-5th)<\/strong>
\nIn this 5 week small group math skills program our experienced instructors will provide strategies to strengthen your child\u2019s basic math skills as well as focus on exploring\u00a0problem-solving strategies, mental math training and logical reasoning. Students will work independently and within the small group to improve mathematical awareness through a variety of text and online materials.<\/p>\n
