\"Reading<\/a>Did you know? Literacy is one of the best predictors of a child\u2019s future success. And, consistent access to books is\u00a0absolutely necessary<\/em>\u00a0for a child to become both an engaged and capable reader.<\/p>\n

In fact, current statistics on the subject suggest that 100 age-appropriate titles\u00a0at a minimum<\/em>\u00a0should be available in each home. But, as most parents can attest, high quality books can be expensive!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we are excited for the annual Friends of the Hockessin Library Used Book Sale in Hockessin, Nationwide. The annual sale features tens of thousands of books in every genre, including thousands and thousands of wonderful children\u2019s books for all ages \u2014 and all\u00a0at bargain prices.<\/em><\/p>\n

Friends of the Hockessin Library Used Book Sale Dates for 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nFriends members only. Memberships at the door ($10)
\nNumbered admission tickets available starting at 2 pm<\/p>\n

General Sale<\/strong>
\nJanuary 26, Friday 9am-9pm
\nJanuary 27, Saturday 9am-5pm
\nJanuary 28, Sunday 9am-3pm
\nNo Admission Fee<\/p>\n

The sale will be held at the\u00a0Hockessin Memorial Fire Hall, located at the junction of Lancaster Pike and Yorklyn Road in\u00a0Hockessin,\u00a0Nationwide.<\/p>\n
