At Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. it is our mission to educate and build self-esteem in children and adults to make a difference in their lives. All of our devoted employees, tutors, interpreters, translators, psychologists, speech, occupational, and behavioral specialists, and office staff play an integral role, not only our 33 years of success, but more importantly, in making the Back to Basics mission and vision a rewarding reality.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our employees have helped us accomplish our mission simply by sharing their talents, professionalism, and knowledge with each parent, student, administrator, teacher, and corporation we serve.<\/p>\n

The Back to Basics IMPACT Award is presented to those whose actions exemplify our mission.\u00a0 These individuals have touched the lives of countless students and parents, and have spread our mission with their professional skills, dedication, and desire to contribute.<\/p>\n

JESSICA SANCHEZ, Spanish-English Interpreting<\/strong><\/p>\n

While Jessica has only just been with Back to Basics for a little over a year, she has made an impression on many.\u00a0 She is described as a motivated, caring, selfless, and proficient interpreter by office staff and our clients. Jessica is always willing to go above and beyond when needed.\u00a0 She has received numerous compliments from school administration and staff stating that she is \u201camazing\u201d and does a wonderful job building a rapport with the families when on interpreting assignments.<\/p>\n

Her work is always thorough and professional. After we send Jessica out on an interpreting assignment, we often get a call from the school asking if they can request her for every job.<\/p>\n

JULIE NICHOLS, ELL Tutor<\/strong><\/p>\n

In her almost ten years with Back to Basics, Julie has assisted students age 5 to adult in meeting their goals.\u00a0 Her English Language Learning (ELL) students as well as others benefit from her broad knowledge of instructional reading and phonic programs.<\/p>\n

Parents describe Julie as \u201cthe perfect match\u201d for their child, \u201cconscientious and enthusiastic\u201d, and a tutor who \u201cstrives to help others succeed.\u201d \u00a0Julie is regularly requested by teachers and administrators for our district EL programs. \u00a0Last year one teacher told us that she was \u201cthrilled\u201d when she heard Julie would be working with her students because she had seen the quality and care Julie brings to each lesson.<\/p>\n

DAVE POWER, Secondary Mathematics and SAT Prep Tutor<\/strong><\/p>\n

For the past 16 years, Dave Power has provided his students with nothing less than exceptional service. Numerous families have returned over the years and have requested him to work with each of their children for all high level math, science, and SAT prep sessions.<\/p>\n

Parents remark on Dave\u2019s natural ability to immediately assess their child\u2019s fundamental areas for growth. Another commented on his work with both her children stating, \u201cHe has a gift for explaining the most complex math topics in a way that has enabled\u00a0each\u00a0to not only understand the information during the tutor session, but\u00a0also retain the information and build upon it as each math chapter is covered at school.\u201d In addition, clients repeatedly comment that they see marked improvement with their child\u2019s grades within as little as 2 sessions and that SAT Math scores have been seen to increase well over a hundred points.<\/p>\n
