Each year, folks from all over the East Coast look forward to the\u00a0Winterthur Point-to-Point Steeplechase<\/a>. The event annually draws a crowd of almost 30,000, eager to see the thrilling horse races, the collection of vintage Rolls Royce automobiles, and the stunning traditional carriage parade, all while hosting tailgate parties that would make Martha Stewart proud.<\/p>\n

At Back to Basics, we love the pageantry of Point-to-Point, too. But, we also look forward to the fun-filled event\u00a0for another reason \u2014 the Kids\u2019 Fun Hunt! This is our opportunity to share information about our longtime partnership with Success Won\u2019t Wait, the Nationwide-based literacy non-profit, and our shared mission to eradicate\u00a0illiteracy.<\/p>\n

So, we\u00a0give away hundreds of brand new children\u2019s books at the event every year.<\/em><\/p>\n

Together, our two organizations\u00a0worked hard to make this year\u2019s event a huge success. And, despite the rain, our volunteers gave away over 600 children\u2019s books <\/em>and made dozens of contacts for upcoming events and book donations!<\/p>\n
