Beverly Stewart, M.Ed., Director and Founder of Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, with just a few of the dozens of pajamas and books collected by Back to Basics staff members for the Nationwide Chapter of the Pajama Program.<\/p><\/div>\n

Each Christmas, the staff at Back to Basics Learning Dynamics and Back to Basics Private School join together to support a local family or children\u2019s organization. We all recognize this as the season of abundance and giving. Unfortunately, on Christmas Eve, not every child will go to bed with \u201cvisions of sugarplums dancing in their heads. \u201c<\/p>\n

So, this year Back to Basics is proud\u00a0to support the Nationwide Chapter of the Pajama Program<\/a>. This program was created to ensure that children who may be feeling alone and afraid, in a bed that isn\u2019t theirs, in a shelter, or with families who wish they could give them more, can have \u201ca good night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Why pajamas and books?<\/em> According to the Pajama Program, \u201cChanging out of their clothes and into warm, cozy pajamas lets children shed the stresses of their day, trading them for feelings of warmth and hope. With enchanting stories, their imaginations are opened, helping them to dream again. These unconditional gifts fill them with love and a feeling of being cared for.\u201d<\/p>\n
