There are just a few days left! \u00a0Late Registration for the test closes on November 22 at the <a href=\"https:\/\/collegereadiness.collegeboard.org\/sat\/register\/dates-deadlines\" target=\"_blank\">College Board<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the SAT Test, SAT Subject Tests are also available on this date including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Literature<\/li>\n<li>U.S. History<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics Level 1<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics Level 2<\/li>\n<li>Biology E\/M<\/li>\n<li>Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Physics<\/li>\n<li>French with Listening<\/li>\n<li>German with Listening<\/li>\n<li>Spanish with Listening<\/li>\n<li>Chinese with Listening<\/li>\n<li>Japanese with Listening<\/li>\n<li>Korean with Listening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why the SAT test is important for college-bound students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Peterson\u2019s, one of the\u00a0most accurate sources for school listings, scholarships, and admissions\u00a0information, \u201cYour SAT scores aren\u2019t generally the <em>only\u00a0<\/em>deciding factor for getting in, but they do matter more to some colleges than others. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nacacnet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Association for College Admission Counseling<\/a>\u00a0found that larger institutions tend to consider test scores more intently, while small exclusive schools are likely to place equal importance on all aspects of your application, including the scores. There are <em>a few<\/em> schools that have begun to place less emphasis on test scores, <em>but this isn\u2019t the case for the majority of schools<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to prepare for the SAT test<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So, scoring a perfect 1600 on the SAT won\u2019t guarantee acceptance into Harvard\u2026 but it sure can help.
