With college applications due in just a few weeks, rising high school seniors can be forgiven for panicking, just a little. But, parents are concerned, too. Many are worried about how they are actually going to pay for some of these institutions of higher learning!<\/p>\n
According to the College Board, \u201cthe average cost of tuition and fees for the 2015\u20132016 school year was $32,405 at private colleges, $9,410 for state residents at public colleges, and $23,893 for out-of-state residents attending public universities.\u201d<\/p>\n
And, at the nation\u2019s most prestigious colleges and universities, the price tags are often much, much higher. For the 2016-2017 school year, the highest priced colleges and universities include:<\/p>\n
