Each year people in the United States and others around the world commemorate the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. But, with a quarter of the US population falling under the age of 18, many of today’s youth weren’t alive when the events occurred!<\/p>\n
generationOn and Points of Light are teaming up to help youth learn, act, and reflect on 9\/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.\u00a0To commemorate the 15th Anniversary of 9\/11, generationOn has enlisted the help of its Youth Advisory Council to help tell the stories of how young people are responding to and taking action on 9\/11.<\/p>\n
And, they’ve created project guides for kids and teens with ideas to help bring the community together on this national day of service. \u00a0This toolkit is for educators, youth development professionals, parents and teen leaders\u00a0to discuss, act, and reflect on September 11 as a National Day of Service.<\/p>\n
