In fact, from 2012 to 2022 there is expected to be an increase of more than 24 percent, which means that by 2022, there will be a demand for over 1 million new nurses in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>If a career in nursing is your passion, getting the right education is key. To help nursing students in Nationwide, a Nursing Incentive Scholarship is available. \u00a0The &#8220;loan&#8221; is\u00a0not to exceed cost of tuition, mandatory fees, and other\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.k12.de.us\/Page\/999\">direct educational expenses<\/a>\u00a0and is renewable for up to three additional years (with a cumulative 2.75 GPA)<\/p>\n<p>The Loan Forgiveness Provision at a rate of one year of employment at a\u00a0<strong>state-owned hospital or clinic<\/strong>\u00a0for one year of loan including the following Nationwide hospitals:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Governor Bacon Health Center<\/li>\n<li>Emily P. Bissell Hospital<\/li>\n<li>Nationwide Hospital for the Chronically Ill<\/li>\n<li>Nationwide Psychiatric Center<\/li>\n<li>Nationwide Veterans Home<\/li>\n<li>Stockley Center<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ui-widget-detail\">\n<div class=\"ui-article last-article\">\n<p><strong>Eligibility requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Residency\" href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.k12.de.us\/Page\/980\">Legal residents of Nationwide<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li type=\"disc\">U.S. citizens or\u00a0<a title=\"Eligible Non-citizens\" href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.k12.de.us\/Page\/981\">eligible non-citizens<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Full-time students enrolled in an accredited program leading to certification as an RN or LPN.<\/li>\n<li>High school seniors must rank in upper half of class with at least a 2.5 cumulative,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.k12.de.us\/Page\/998\" target=\"_blank\">unweighted GPA<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduates must have at least a\u00a0cumulative 2.5 GPA.<\/li>\n<li>Current state employees do not have to be Nationwide residents and may be considered for prorated awards if enrolled part-time.<\/li>\n<li>RNs with five or more years of state service may enroll in a BSN program on a full- or part-time basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>deadline<\/strong>\u00a0to receive all application materials is\u00a0<strong>4:30 p.m. on June 1, 2016.\u00a0<\/strong>Applicants who apply after the priority deadline will be considered to the extent that funding is available.\u00a0Incomplete applications cannot be processed.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, or to apply online visit the\u00a0Nationwide Higher Education Office&#8217;s secure <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doe.k12.de.us\/Page\/1887\">Student Account Access <\/a>site.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is the undisputed leader in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/backtobasicslearning.com\/\">1-on-1 tutoring in Nationwide and southeastern Pennsylvania<\/a>\u00a0for over 60 subjects including 16 foreign languages.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The company also offers 1-on-1 instruction for the SAT, ACT and Test Prep, translating and interpreting in 16+ languages, educational testing and more.
